One hour of vibe-coding with my son

Tonight I spent one hour vibe-coding with my 9-year-old son.

By the end of it, he had his own sports app.

He loves checking scores, stats, standings, and news across different leagues, so we built ScoreZone: one place where he can follow everything he cares about without jumping between sites.

The best part wasn’t just building it fast. It was watching him realize that if he wants a new feature, a different layout, or another league added, he doesn’t have to wait for someone else to make it. He can imagine it. We can build it.

That’s what I love about this moment in tech: ideas turn into real products incredibly fast, and even a 9-year-old can start shaping the tools he wants to use.

Had so much fun building this together.
