DevFest DC, my first time as a speaker
I’ve been to many tech conferences, but DevFest DC was my first time as a speaker.
I spent a lot of time preparing for the talk. It was about My Storyland: how a multi-agent system turns a book into a real travel itinerary, and how I check if the result is good enough.
For me, being a speaker was much more interesting than just attending. After the session, people came over and asked me about My Storyland. It gave me a chance to explain the product and hear their questions and feedback.
I also came home with new ideas. Alim Kumykov suggested using a knowledge graph to organize book information during My Storyland’s Discovery phase. And I had a very nice conversation with David Lippert about open source.
Chida Sadayappan and Airen Washington, thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak and for all the support.
P.S. I was so caught up in everything that I didn’t take a single photo.
